THE ART OF WILLIAM LIEBISCH
I love more than anything to paint all that nature has to offer in their natural environment, scenery, Africa’s Wildlife and Flowers.
William was born in South Africa and subsequently moved to New Zealand where he now lives in Nelson and is a passionate recreational painter.
William describes himself as a self-taught painter inspired by the wildlife, colours and shapes of African and the magnificence of New Zealand’s natural beauty.
William loves working in acrylics but is also a very successful water colour artist especially painting flowers in water colour.
William have exhibited at several art competitions where he won a merit award at the Ashburton Society of Art exhibition in 2012.
He had a very successful solo exhibition in the Methven Heritage Centre Art Gallery in 2012.
His paintings have been sold to private collectors throughout South Africa, New Zealand, and Europe.
